TIMES WE MEET
Sundays 11:00 a.m. with Children’s classes
Sunday 10:15 a.m
At CBC we are passionate about our commitment to rightly interpret the Bible and its all sufficiency to be our guide for our everyday living and growing.
Every Sunday we gather for worship which we believe is our highest calling as the people of God. We come to offer our hearts up to celebrate all God has done. We aim to make every aspect of our services a reflection of worshipping God which includes our giving, service, prayers, teaching, music and praise. We worship with contemporary songs and the classic hymns.
Children are an important part of our church. We have excellent Sunday school teachers, all bilingual in English and Spanish with classes ranging from ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 10 and 11 to 14. The children leave for their classes after spending time in the worship service. Your children will have fun making new friends and learning important truths about God.
We believe that the mission of God is to share the Good News of Jesus and to show God's love through His offer of Salvation through His Son and in practical ways. Throughout the year CBC is involved in a number of mission initiatives. In addition a number of our members are active missionaries and involved in church planting and evangelism, around the world.
We have a compassionate and sensitive care team, who are able to offer support to bring comfort and assistance to those in need whilst experiencing the outworking of their love for God in serving others.
CBC has a multi-national Choir that has been enjoying raising the roof and celebrating their love for God over many years with people coming from all over. Join with us over the Christmas and Easter celebrations and join in the mighty chorus!
is the inspired all sufficient Word of God and it is our supreme authority in all matters of faith and Christian living. It is central to all our teaching and discipleship principles.
exists eternally in three persons as the God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit.
is the eternal Son of God, Creator of the universe through whom and for whom all things were made, who became fully man to fulfill God's promise to send a Saviour to redeem the world back from all sin.
is the work of God when we repent of our sin and accept the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and place our trust in Him. It is by the grace of God through faith and not by any human effort or good works.
is only through the finished work of Jesus who died on the cross and rose again to redeem everyone from sin. It is through Christ alone and not by any human effort or good works.
is in obedience to the command of Christ and is an outward expression of an inward decision to place our trust in Jesus Christ alone for Salvation. It is by full immersion which reenacts the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We recognize that children can have a real faith, however, we do not believe the Bible teaches infant Baptism.
is a special service where parents / guardians give thanks to God for the gift of their child and acknowledge that their children ultimately belong to God. It is a time for a parent(s) to affirm their intention to raise their child within a spiritual environment where the child’s faith will grow and flourish.
is a time when we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord. The bread and wine represent the shed blood and broken body of our Saviour Jesus Christ. We also practice open communion, meaning anyone who has trusted Jesus as Saviour is invited to join us in sharing these elements together as one body.
is one with the Father and the Son in the Godhead. We believe that He indwells every Christian believer at the point of Salvation and is the source of our spiritual life, obedience to God and Christ like behaviour.
