| REVEREND IAN BELL. Ian has served as a Baptist Pastor in a number of churches in the UK - his most recent ministry being Senior Pastor of Romford Baptist Church in London. He was born in County Durham in North East England. He read mechganical engineering at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh and then practiced as a Chartered Engineer before being called to the Baptist Ministry. He trained for the ministry and read theology at Regents Park College in Oxford and Westminster College in Cambridge. Ian is married to Janice and they have two children - Richard who is married to Amy (they have two children Isaac and Ollie) and Laura who is married to Joe (they have a daughter Eloise). Ian's hobbies include golf, geneology and astronomy. |

SAM HELDENBRAND - ELDER. Sam spent his formative years in North Africa, where his father worked as a civil engineer, before returning home to the US as a teenager. He felt called to the ministry as a 20 year-old while studying aeronautical engineering at Purdue University in the mid-west US. Changing schools and majors as a result, he transferred to Grace College in Indiana, graduating with a degree in English literature, history and math. He subsequently earned a Master of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary in 1995. He and his wife Karla left the USA for Europe with their boys Andrew and Derrick in 2000 and joined CBC in 2004, where they have served in various capacities ever since. To date, Sam has lived a cumulative 28 years of his life as an expatriate.

KENN OKE - ELDER. Ken and his wife Doreen work with Avant Ministeries, an international church planting organisation. They have worked in theological education and church planting in both Spain and Poland. Kenn now serves as the European Director for Avant. The Oke's have been a part of Calahonda Baptist Church since 2009 where they have been involved in teaching and leading worship. |
